Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle at mycreationswithmichelle.blogspot.ca. If you came from Carol of craftycarol55.blogspot.ca then you are in the right place!

To create this Chalk Board I wanted to go black and then pop with accents. I used Gold Coloured brads that match the Gold embossing powder fairly closely.

The embossed birds on the bottom are made using an older CTMH stamp set.
I used the Gold Ice Stickles to outline all of the flowers from the birds up. Both the inner and outer edges of the frame were worked with CTMH black distressing ink to give the illusion of a black frame.
If you want to use this as a message board you can use regular chalk. I wanted a permanent message for my office door so I chose to used the CTMH chalk marker.

  11. Love the layout! I have spiral staircases in my loft and they are amazing because they take up no room at all. You can get to the second floor without having to take up a whole lot of room.
